Online learning platforms combine content management, video delivery and progress tracking. This MERN stack project builds a compact version with three roles: instructor, student and admin.
Instructors create courses with sections, video lessons, downloadable notes and a quiz at the end of each section. Students browse the catalogue, enrol, watch lessons with a player that remembers where they stopped and take quizzes that must be passed to unlock the next section. A progress bar shows how much of each course is complete.
When a student finishes all lessons and quizzes, the system generates a PDF certificate with a unique verification code that anyone can check on a public page. Students can rate courses and ask questions on each lesson. The admin approves new courses and sees enrolment statistics. Videos are streamed in chunks so they start quickly even on slow connections.
