In an emergency there may be no time to unlock a phone and open an app. This native Android app, written in Kotlin, is designed to raise an alert in seconds and keep loved ones informed until the user is safe.
An SOS can be triggered by shaking the phone, pressing the power button three times, a home-screen widget or a voice phrase. The app then sends an SMS with a live-location link to up to five trusted contacts, starts sharing location every 10 seconds, and records a short audio clip as evidence. SMS works even without mobile data, and the last known location is sent if GPS is slow.
Trusted contacts open the link to follow the user on a map in real time. The app also offers a "walk with me" timer that alerts contacts if the user does not check in, nearby police stations and hospitals, and a fake incoming call to leave uncomfortable situations. Location sharing stops automatically when the user marks themselves safe.
